Book Out Today
"The Book" is out today. A Journey into Dorothy Parker's New York is published by Roaring Forties Press of Berkeley, CA. It was a lot of fun to write for me, and such a pleasure to see come out. It is now in stores, I have personally seen it for sale in every Barnes & Noble in Manhattan, as well as the great independent bookstores The Corner Bookstore, Rizzolli, Colisseum, Shakespeare & Co. and of course The Algonquin Hotel.I started a whole new section just on the book right here. It has a bio, a newsy blog (with photos from book signings), ordering info and more. (I will be putting all book information on that part of the site, to keep it separate from the rest of the Dorothy Parker Society news).
I want to personally thank Marion Meade for writing the introduction, Natalie Ascencios for the incredible cover art, my publishers Deirdre Greene and Nigel Quinney and my editor, Todd Felton. (Believe me, there are many more people I want to thank, and they are all in the book!)
If you have any questions or comments, just let me know. I also (of course) am looking for your reviews on Amazon.com!
