The Dorothy Parker Society of New York's Parkerfest 2002 will be held August 23-24 in Manhattan. Mrs. Parker's birthday is Aug. 22. Once again, we'll be going to
Flute (205 West 54th St. between Broadway and Seventh Avenue) for Speakeasy Night on Friday at 7 p.m. Saturday we're having lunch at the
Algonquin Round Table at 12:30 p.m. The walking tour will be at 3:30 p.m., beginning at West 72nd Street and Riverside Drive at the Mrs. Roosevelt statue. All events are free (cash bar), the walking tour is $20. (Be sure you can walk 30+ blocks).
