![[PHOTO OF EXTERIOR #2]](http://www.dorothyparker.com/la/images/dotla07.JPG)
We finally have added the
Norma Place home to the site. This is where Alan Campbell died in 1963.
By coincidence, two Los Angeles residents both sent in photos to the site the same week! We've been seeking someone to shoot photos of the little West Hollywood house since Aug. 1999, when the
Hollywood section was created on dorothyparker.com. Now the current residents (whoever they are) of 8983 Norma Place must feel like
Madonna and
Guy Ritchie with these Dorothy Parker paparazzi descending on their house.
Big thanks to
Helen K. Garber and
Mark Lopez for rising to the challenge, braving the traffic, and getting the job done! Special note for
Olen Earnest, who sent an e-mail to the site 18 months ago with a personal recollection about being Mrs. Parker's former neighbor. It pays to never trash old e-mail, and Olen's story is now presented here.
