Parkerfest 2000 Date is Set
The Dorothy Parker Society of New York has announced the dates for Parkerfest 2000. This is our second annual event. Mark your Palm Pilots for Aug. 4-5, 2000, in Manhattan (of course). More information will be available as the weeks go by. Until then, see the Parkerfest 2000 information page and take the survey; we want to see what features the most people want to participate in. Also, see the page and photos from A Parkerfest 1999 to get a sense of what takes place when a few dozen Dot Heads get together (this isn't a Star Trek convention, OK??)... there will be a sign-up list soon. The overwhelming response from the 1999 attendees was that it was a great day, but it was too jam-packed with activities, so we're spreading it out over two days this year.
